IS CHLOROPHYLLE STILL A QUEBEC COMPANY?

The owners and management of Chlorophylle are still of Quebec nature, and have been for nearly 40 years now.

ARE YOUR CLOTHES MADE IN CANADA?

Our clothing is designed and developed in Montreal and Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. They are designed to high quality standards for ultimate performance in outdoor environments and manufactured with trusted partners in China. Many people believe that clothing manufacturers manufacture products in China simply because it is "cheap". In short, it is a myth - it is not cheap to make technical outdoor clothing all over the world - it is actually very expensive. China is precisely the country that emerged to fill the void when the clothing manufacturing base in Canada and the United States began to erode in the 1980s. China now has some of the most skilled and technical labour and machinery, as well as some of the best business practices.

HOW CAN I BECOME AN AMBASSADOR FOR YOUR BRAND?

You can submit your application by sending us your interest at INFOCHLORO@CHLOROPHYLLE.NET. We will then send you a questionnaire that will allow us to get to know you better. Once the questionnaire has been completed and returned, we will inform you of our decision.

WHY CAN'T THE ENTIRE COLLECTION BE FOUND AT CLOTHING RETAILERS?

Each independent retailer is free to buy the products they wish to sell. For this reason, retailers do not offer the entire collection. However, Chlorophylle has its own network of concept stores. There are a total of 14 stores in Quebec and this number is expected to increase in the coming years. In addition, you can also buy directly from our website. DO THE ALTERATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS VOID THE WARRANTY?

The warranty covers the original manufacture of the product. Any alteration made by a person who is not part of our affiliated and/or authorized services will void the product warranty.

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY POLICY?

Chlorophylle offers its customers a company-specific guarantee. For more details, click here.

IS YOUR WARRANTY FOR LIFE?

Our products are guaranteed for their practical lifetime, unfortunately they are not covered for your lifetime. The fabrics will lose their attributes, their colours and the moving parts will wear out. We guarantee our products until we consider the product to be at the end of its practical life, worn out or irreparable. It is certain that wear and tear depends on the use of each user and that is why it is impossible for us to give a fixed duration to the life of a product. It may be time to replace your product and we hope to be able to continue to offer you the best product for you.

WHY DO YOU USE FUR?

Fur provides warmth and protection from the wind. We use it mainly on our warmest jackets to offer optimal protection against the cold.

WHERE DOES YOUR FUR COME FROM?

We get our supplies from Bilodeau in Canada. All the coyote fur used by Chlorophlle comes from professional and reliable Canadian trappers and hunters. The Canadian trapping and hunting community relies on the Coyote for food and income. Therefore, its practices reflect its respect for nature and its desire to maintain this animal species for future generations, ensuring that endangered species are never used. In addition, Canada sets the standard for trapping methods as the basis for the Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards (AIHTS).
For more information on the origin of the fur, see this link https://bilodeaucanada.com/en/sustainable-developement

DO YOU HAVE ANY NEWS ABOUT THE ASCLEPLIADES PROJECT?

We had a lot of hope for this project. The substance did not pass our flammability and compression tests. We are constantly looking for environmentally friendly textiles and materials for our clothing. The asclepliade did not pass our tests, but we are constantly on the lookout for new technologies.

WHAT IS YOUR CHS TECHNOLOGY?

CHS technology is a fabric that offers waterproofness and breathability. Breathability and waterproofing ratings will vary depending on the type of fabric in this range. All CHS fabrics have good abrasion resistance and are treated with hydrophobic water repellent on the DWR surface.

ARE YOUR JACKETS WARM ENOUGH FOR OUR COLDEST CANADIAN WEATHER?

Our jackets are very warm, but all have a different comfort zone. We offer RDS (Responsible Down Standard) down winter jackets that have a comfort zone of up to -30 degrees Celsius.

HOW TO CHOOSE MY JACKET?

Ask yourself the following questions:
What is the activity I want to do with my coat?
What is the intensity?
What category of clothing do I need?
Do you generate a lot of heat?
The answers to these questions will lead you either to high-intensity sportswear or to clothing that will fit into your daily activities. If you need specific advice, you can contact our customer service department at (418) 549-7512 ext. 229 or visit our store.

ARE YOUR SIZES STANDARD?

On a regular basis, we compare our sizes with the clothes made on the market. We try to offer sizes that are equivalent or comparable to market trends. For more information, see the size chart at https://www.chlorophylle.com/en/sizing-chart/

WHEN IT COMES TO WATERPROOFING, WHAT DOES 10K OR 15K MEAN?

The numbers correspond to the waterproofness and breathability rating of the garment. The higher it is, the more waterproof and breathable the garment.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WATERPROOF AND WATER-RESISTANT?

A item can only be said to be waterproof and windproof if the fabric it is made of has a membrane or waterproof product and all seams are sealed. A garment can be made of waterproof fabric but its seams are not sealed, so this garment will not be considered waterproof, but it will be windproof.

In the case of a water-resistant garment, it has an outer surface with a DWR water-repellent treatment. Generally, this garment will also be windproof, but it is not necessary to have a water repellent to be windproof.

CAN WE ORDER FROM THE UNITED STATES/FRANCE?

From the website, we ship only to Canada. However, you can contact us by providing your name, address and order. We will estimate the costs, as customs and shipping fees apply and we can ship it to you.

HOW CAN I MAKE AN EXCHANGE/RETURN?

https://www.chlorophylle.com/en/garantie ( "Returns" section)

IF THERE IS A RED TRIANGLE "FINAL SALE", CAN I EXCHANGE OR REFUND THIS ITEM?

Items identified with a red triangle "Final sale" are items with a 50% discount and more. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Therefore, they are not covered by our warranty.
